Proprietary 810nm SubLiminal emission mode

Composed of a train of extremely short microsecond pulses of which the duration and the intervals are fully adjustable, this subthreshold treatment mode allows a precise management of the thermal effect on the targeted tissues.

The use of this subthreshold emission mode is the cornerstone of the new SubCyclo glaucoma laser therapy.

Enhanced treatment options

Supra 810 provides an intuitive and versatile user interface simplifying glaucoma and retina laser treatments. Built in a clinically oriented manner, Supra 810 offers 4 different software guided treatment procedures: SubCyclo, ThermoCyclo, Photocoagulation and TTT

SubCyclo: A novel, safe and effective non thermal glaucoma treatment

Based on the transcleral cyclophotocoagulation principle, the SubCyclo procedure relies on the 810nm SubLiminal laser stimulation of the ciliary body, producing the aqueous humor, and of the uveoscleral pathway, secondary route of the aqueous outflow.

Recent studies1,2 have shown that:

  • It preserves the structures of the ciliary body (no destructive effects)
  • It improves the uveoscleral outflow
  • It allows for early treatment intervention
  • It is a repeatable treatment option
